Therapeutic Services

What I Can Help You With

  • If you have emotional wounds or unresolved issues.

  • If you would like to change your life and don’t know how.

  • If you are feeling down, lonely, unmotivated, or not knowing what to do.

  • If you have problems at work or with your family or friends.

I specialize on working with clients who have anxiety, depression, grief/loss, and trauma or PTSD, among other mental health issues. My experience also includes five years of working at a rehabilitation center, helping clients who struggle with addictions.

Type of Clients I Work With

I work with individual clients in English and Spanish, ages 18 and up, who come from different lifestyles and often culturally diverse backgrounds, such as Hispanics or Latinos and the LGBTQIA+ community.

My Therapy Goal

My goal is to get to the root of your difficulties by exploring your thoughts, feelings, and core beliefs, probably related to early stages in life or your childhood, so you can experience life changes. I invite you to work together with your strengths and unique capabilities for self-healing, in a non-judgmental and confidential space.

Life challenges can become difficult to handle when we are alone, and sometimes, we need someone objective with no agenda, who we can trust and can help us move forward.

Techniques I Use

Depending on your needs, I might use different skills and techniques like CBT, DBT, SFBT, and Mindfulness to work with you. However, I mainly use a combination of experiential therapies such as EMDR, IFS, and Cohesive Therapy, that can help you change the way you feel or have felt emotions in the past, and can also help you to reduce symptoms by addressing hidden or subconscious issues.

In the past decade, I have helped hundreds of clients to work on their emotional wounds and to feel better about themselves and life.

Service Types and Length

Therapy sessions can be in-person, online (telehealth), or on-the-phone, depending on your needs and mental health. The sessions last from 50 to 55 minutes unless we have made other arrangements.

The length of your treatment depends on what brings you to therapy. If you are using your insurance plan, the length of your treatment can also be impacted by how many sessions your insurance company approves.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

  • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.

  • If you must re-schedule or cancel an appointment, please provide as much advance notice as possible. By doing so, you allow me to best accommodate those in need of services. Since it is very difficult to fill an appointment cancelled at the last moment, you will be charged the full amount of the session for any session that is not cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the appointment. This is necessary because a time commitment is made to you and is held exclusively for you.
